Drug Uses


Naprosyn is effective medicine prescribed to patients who have osteoarthritis, arthritis and juvenile arthritis, bursitis and tendonitis, ankylosing or acute gout. Naprosyn is recommended in cases of primary dysmenorrhea or juvenile rheumatoid. It also relieves effectively mild to moderate pain.


How Taken


Naprosyn comes in normal tablets, extended tablets or liquid form for oral administration. If you have arthritis, take one pill twice a day. Patients who have gout should take one pill every 8 hours. If Naprosyn is used as pain reliever, one pill should be taken every 6-8 hours. Take Naprosyn according the prescription of your doctor. Do not take Naprosyn more often or in larger amounts than prescribed. Do not discontinue the treatment at your own account or do not take for longer period than prescribed. If you have gastritis or chronic stomach upset, take the Naprosyn tablet after meal or with a glass of milk in order to avoid irritation or pain.


Missed Dose


Strictly follow the doze schedule prescribed by your doctor. Only in this way the treatment would be effective. Take the missed Naprosyn dose as soon as you remember or skip it if it`s almost time for the next dose. Do not double dose to make it for the missed one.
