Zyban is an effective smoking cessation medicine which will help you overcome your nicotine addiction permanently.

The combination between alcohol and Zyban increases the chance of experiencing negative side effects. Use caution when driving, operating heavy machinery or performing other hazardous activities before you have experienced the effect of Zyban on you. It usually causes drowsiness or dizziness in patients who haven`t taken it before.

Safety Information

Zyban is proven safe and harmless smoking cessation drug. However its use should be consistent with the patient`s overall health condition. Zyban could be contraindicated for you if you have taken monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) in the last 2 weeks. Zyban is in the FDA pregnancy category B which means that it is safe for your baby. However it is not proven whether Zyban influences the structure of the breast milk. If you intend to have a baby, you are pregnant or breast feeding, you should consult with your doctor before taking Zyban.

Side Effect

Zyban provokes negative side effects rarely. The most serious side effects that you may experience include: an allergic reaction (characterized with skin rash, hives, hard breathing, swelling of the face, swollen lymph glands, mouth sores). If you observe even a small indication of such symptoms, stop taking Zyban and immediately contact your doctor. It`s important that you have quick and adequate reaction in case you experience any disturbing symptoms and thus avoid further negative reactions. Zyban may also cause blood pressure disorder.
