Renova is topical medicine which is usually prescribed for the treatment of brown spots and wrinkles on the face. It successfully obliterates surface roughness of the face, face scars as well as stretch marks on the abdominal wall, on the hips and thighs. Renova is also recommended in cases of severe acne. Immediately after application Renova combines to specific cell receptors of the skin. As a result of this a modification of the gene expression occurs which is followed by intensive protein synthesis, cell growth and differentiation. In this way Renova stimulates the epidermal cells to produce new and healthier skin. The clinical researches have shown that Renova also intensifies the production of collagen.

Smear the affected area with layer of Renova once a day at bed time. Apply the medicine with soft gauze or cotton tampon. Make sure that Renova won`t get near the eyes, mouth or irritated skin zones. Wash your hands immediately after application. The good results will not appear immediately after use. It may take 3 to 6 weeks before you observe skin improvement. Keep the prescriptions of your dermatologist and do not apply Renove more frequently or in bigger amounts than recommended. You will only provoke side effects without achieving the desired results.

Follow the prescriptions of your doctor, only in this way the treatment would be effective. Apply the missed Renova dose as soon as you remember or skip it if it`s almost time for the next dose. Do not double dose to make it for the missed one. It could provoke side effects.

Keep Renova in dry and cool place, away of direct sunlight and at room temperature. Keep the medicine away of reach of children. Do not store outdated or no longer needed Renova packings.

Renova overdose is not likely to occur. However if you have applied too much of the medicine and observe unusual symptoms, stop the therapy and consult your dermatologist immediately.

Renova should not be applied by patients who have recently undergone keratolytic therapy or exfoliation procedures. In such case Renova could be used only after the skin rashes and irritations have disappeared. Renova should be applied only when absolutely necessary and always under doctor`s supervision in patients who are pregnant or intend to have a baby. It is not known whether the medicine influences the structure of the breast milk. If you are breast-feeding, consult with your doctor before applying Renova.

Safety Information

Although Renova is proven safe and harmless topical medicine, you should bear in mind that this drug could increase your skin`s sensitivity to sunlight, wind and cold. During treatment avoid direct exposure to sun or sunlamps and always wear protective clothing and apply creams with high sun protection factor. If you use acne medicines, use Renova with caution or consult with your dermatologist. During the Renova therapy use mild face soaps which do not contain abrasive or scrubbing particles and do not wash your face excessively. The abrasive cleaners could increase the skin irritation.

Side Effect

Renova provokes side effects rarely. The most serious negative effects that you may experience as a result of the Renova treatment include: warming, stinging or reddening of the treated zones, peeling of the skin, sun sensitivity, itchiness or scaling of the skin. These symptoms usually appear while your skin is adjusting to the medicine and fade away by themselves in a couple of days. If they do not disappear or worsen, stop the Renova therapy and consult with your dermatologist.
