Kenalog medicine comes as topical steroid. It successfully treats mouth ulcers.
How Taken
Before start applying Kenalog, ask your doctor if this medicine is proper for your health problem. The common case is to apply Kenalog just before bedtime for best absorption. Thin layer on the ulcer is enough for one treatment. If the ulcer is more serious, you may need to apply Kenalog from 2-3 times per day. Do not exceed the dose of 4 times in 24 hours.
Missed Dose
In case it happens to miss your regular application of Kenalog, do it as soon as you remember it. Do not overdose. Overdosing can not increase its action.
Storage
Keep Kenalog in its original packing and keep it tightly closed. Do not freeze or melt. Put where no children can reach it.
Overdose
Do not apply more of Kenalog than prescribed. In case you suspect overdose, look for medical attention right away.
More Information
It is not advisable to use Kenalog for more than 5 days. If the ulcers are not fully cured after the treatment, better you will visit or doctor or dentist.
