Product Description

Nirizal tablets are prescribed in case of funginal infection classified as candidiasis, chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis, hystoplasmosis and others. It is also advisable for recalcitrant infections. Do not take in case of fungal meningitis. Ask your doctor for other usages.

Your doctor will decide what dose is proper for you. In general cases, it is prescribed one tablet per day until the problem fade away completely. It is possible to increase your dose and your treatment course, but only under doctor’s supervision.

If you miss your daily dose, take it as soon as you remember on the same day (if taken once per day). If it is time for your next dose, take only one dose of Nizoral tablets and do not overdose. Overdosing is not advisable and can not increase the effect of the medicine.

Keep Nizoral at a dark and dry place, away from direct light, heat and moisture. Keep at a controlled room temperature between 15 and 25°C (59–77°F). Store where no children can reach it.

Do not overdose with Nizoral tablets. If you overdose by accident, fist help as gastric lavage with sodium bicarbonate must be provided. Possible overdose symptoms include diarrhea, stomach problems and constipation, dizziness and drowsiness, headache, nausea and others. If you suspect overdose call you doctor for further support.

If is not recommended to drink alcohol during treatment with Nizoral. Alcohol in combination with this medicine increases the risk of liver problems. If you notice that your disease is not well influenced by Nizoral, let you doctor know and require second medical opinion. For all further information refer to your medical provider.

Safety Information

Before you start taking Nizoral, advise your doctor if you are allergic to Nizoral or any of its ingredients. If you have liver disease, kidney disease, heart rhythm disorder, anorexia, stomach problems, nausea, dark urine, low testosterone, Addison’s disease, adrenal insufficiency, you may need special dosage adjustment and monitoring during treatment. If you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant or you are breast feeder, take Nizoral only in emergency cases. Nizoral may harm an unborn baby and passes into the breast milk. Tell your doctor if you are taking any other medicines or herbal supplements. Be aware that Nizoral may change your metabolism.

Side Effect

If you experience anything bothersome and unusual, call your doctor and ask him for help. Side effects during treatment with Nizoral might be expected. The serious ones include depression, suicidal thoughts, disorientation, dizziness, irregular heartbeat, stomach problems, allergic reaction, dark urine and others. Less serious side effects include dizziness, loss of appetite, changes in the sex drive, sore throat and fever.
