Product Description

Ultram medicine belongs to the group of pain killers, which range covers from moderate to severe pain. Ulram is used also after surgery and by chronic pains, like joint pain and cancer. It acts by decreasing brain’s perception and the size of the brain signal passing from a nerve to another. In such way it reduces the response to the pain. Ultram is also used in other cases, not listed here.

Take Ultram only under doctor’s prescription. Your doctor will give you dosage adjustment corresponding to your health condition. Ultram comes as an oral tablet, taken in general cases every 4 or 6 hours, if needed. This medicine is not considered to upset the stomach and might be taken with or without food. Do not take more or less than prescribed and do not take for long period. Ultram is habit-forming and may lead to addiction. For any further information ask your doctor.

Try not to miss your regular dose of Ultram. If happens to miss a dose, take it as soon as possible and then go back to your regular schedule. Do not overdose by trying to catch up.

Keep Ultram in its original packing, tightly closed. The best temperature for storage is at 25°C (77°F). On excursion from 15 to 30°C (59 - 86°F) is recommended. Keep Ultram where no children can reach it. Throw away in the garbage when it is out of date.

Do not overdose with Ultram. Overdosing may influence badly on your health condition. The overdose symptoms include problematic breathing, seizures, shallow and others. If you suspect overdose, look for medical attention immediately.

Ultram may provoke dizziness and drowsiness. Until you know exactly how this medicine reacts on you, avoid performing any hazard and risky activities, operating with heavy machines and driving. Do not drink alcohol during treatment, because it may lead to even severe dizziness and drowsiness. Tell your doctor if you are taking any other drugs during your treatment with Ultram. Better do not take any tranquilizers, sedatives, sleeping pills, antihistamines unless especially prescribed by your medical provider.

Safety Information

Take Ultram only under doctor’s prescription and do not give it to other people, even if they have the same symptoms as you have. Tell your doctor if you have any liver or kidney disease, or you have history of any dependence (drug or alcohol). In such case you may need special dosage adjustment and medical supervision. Ultram medicine belongs to FDA pregnancy category C and there are no data if is harmful for an unborn baby. For you best safety and your baby’s safety, do not take this drug if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant during treatment or you are breast feeder. Do not give to children under the age of 16 years. If you are older than 75 years, do no to take more than 300mg of Ultram per day. Be aware that patients over 75 years are more vulnerable to side effects of this medicine.

Side Effect

Side effects during treatment with Ulram might be expected. If you experience something unusual during treatment with Ultram, call your doctor and require further medical attention. You are most likely to experience conditions connected with the central nervous system as Speech disorder and Migraine, and other connected with gastrointestinal system as Hepatitis, Stomatitis, Liver failure and Gastrointestinal bleeding. If any of these problems occur, call your doctor immediately. More moderate side effects might be headache, dizziness and drowsiness, stomach problems, blurred vision, allergy reaction, swelling of the face and tongue, difficult breathing, seizures and disorientation, changes in the urination and others.
