Drug Uses
Flextra DS medicine is painkiller more often prescribed to patients with stomach pain, headache, flue or fever. It belongs to antipyretics and analgesics. Flextra successfully relieves arthritic pains.
How Taken
Before start taking Flextra, ask your doctor for special dosage adjustment and period of treatment. The usually prescribed dose for adults is one tablet per 4 hours. The treatment should not last more than 10 days for adults, maximum 5 days for children and just 3 days in case of fever. If the pain is still not gone after the treatment, seek for medical attention. Do not overdose or continue the treatment without your doctor’s approval.
Missed Dose
In case it happens to miss your dose Flextra DS, take it as soon as you remember it. Do not try to catch up by overdosing. If the time for the next dose has come, take only one of it. After that turn back to your regular schedule.
Storage
It is recommended to store Flextra at a controlled room temperature from 59 to 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C). Keep out of children’s reach. Keep in dry and dark place.
Overdose
Do not overdose. Overdosing can not increase or fasten the effect of Flextra. If you suspect overdose contact your medical supporter or your local poison center immediately. The following symptoms are indication of overdose: hallucinations, fast and irregular heartbeat, muscle stiffness, tiredness, breath shortness, stomach upset followed by vomiting, flushed skin and others.
More Information
During treatment avoid taking another painkillers, acetaminophen, if not especially prescribed by your doctor. Be more cautious when driving or performing risky activities. Alcohol should not be mixed with Flextra. This can lead to unpleasant side effects. Do not take Flextra in case you have drunk 3 or more alcohol drinks per day. Overdosing with this drug can lead to liver problems.

If you experience something bothersome and unusual about your health condition during treatment with Flextra, contact your doctor immediately. If the symptoms become more serious than usual nausea and dizziness, you may need to stop taking Flextra right away. Other possible side effect might be stomach upset and pain, swelling of the lips, face and throat, yellowing eyes, dark urine and sudden discomfort and weakness.
