Carisoprodol medicine is muscle relaxant used after physical activity or injury. It relieves the pain and muscle stiffness and muscle spasms.


How Taken


Carisoprodol drug comes in a shape of tablet from 350mg. Take Carisoprodol total 4 times per day – 3 times daily and 1 time just before you go to bed. Take this medicine orally only, better with food or milk in order to avoid any possible stomach upset. It is recommended not to take Carisoprodol if you are under the age of 12 years.


Missed Dose


For best results take your Carisoprodol doses regularly. If it happens to miss your regular dose, do it as soon as you can if it is within 1 hour. If not, skip the missed dose and take the next scheduled one. Do not overdose with Carisoprodol.


Storage


Keep Carisoprodol medicine in its original container between 15° and 30°C (59°-86°F). Keep away from the reach of children. Keep away from direct light, heat and moisture.


Overdose


Do not overdose with Carisoprodol. Overdosing may cause unpleasant side effects including low blood pressure supported by confusion, weakness, disorientation and fainting. They are most likely to be dizziness, headache, insomnia, disorientation, irritability, ataxia, tremor, syncope, depression, allergy or idiosyncratic reactions. The side effects usually appear between first and fourth dose. If you are feeling well after that period, you are most likely not to experience side effects. Other reported side effects are pruritus, eosinophilia, skin rash, erythema multiforme, fixed drug eruption with cross reaction to meprobamate. More serious side effects like angioneurotic edema, smarting eyes, and hypotension and anaphylactoid shock were reported as well.
