Drug Uses
Zoloft is designed to treat major depressive conditions and psychological disorders. Zoloft is quite effective in patients who experience depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder as well as a number of psychological problems caused by posttraumatic stress and heavy tension in the workplace. Zoloft is suitable for adults, adolescents (12 – 17 years of age) and children (6-12 years of age).
How Taken
Zoloft is available in tablets for oral administration. One Zoloft pill is taken once a day. Consult with your doctor about the exact hour at which you should take the prescribed Zoloft dose. If you have chronic stomach problems, take Zoloft after meal in order to avoid stomach upset.
Strictly follow the prescriptions of your doctor during the course of treatment with Zoloft. Do not exceed or decrease the daily Zoloft dose which was prescribed by your doctor. Do not discontinue the Zoloft treatment at your discretion. It`s quite likely that you feel better in the first weeks of the treatment. Overdose
