Celexa is in a class of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. Celexa affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause depression. Celexa is used to treat depression.
How Taken
For best results take Celexa medicine take everyday one tablet, unless another dosage is prescribed from your doctor. Celexa comes only as tablets, which can be taken with or without food. There are not registered cases of stomach upset. Follow strictly your doctor’s prescription and don not take more or less than given. Inform your doctor if you plan to stop taking Celexa at once. You may need a few weeks treatment for full recovery.
Missed Dose
If you have missed your daily schedule, take the missed pill as soon as you remember it. If the time for the next one has come, take only one pill. Do not overdose.
Storage
It is best to store this medicine in a room temperature from 15° to 30°C. Keep in a dry place and away from moisture.
Overdose
Do not take more of Celexa than prescribed from your doctor. The symptoms of overdosing may appear as amnesia, confusion, convulsion, cyanosis, hyperventilataion. It s not recommended to combine Celexa with other drugs and alcohol, because it may lead to dizziness, vomiting, tremor and nausea.
