Product Description

Clarinex medicine contains a long-acting tricyclic histamine anragonist with selective H1 receptor. Clarinex is prescribed when the patient suffers from seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever).

Do not start taking Clarinex without your doctor’s prescription. The special dosage for you must be conformable with your heath condition. The usual daily dose is one tablet, taken orally. Clarinex does not upset the stomach, and it is not necessary to be taken after meal. Follow strictly your prescription and do not take more or less.

Do not miss your daily doses. If it happens that way, take the missed dose as soon as you can .If the time for the next dose has come, take only one dose and do not try to catch up.

For best storage keep Clarinex in its original packing and do not expose it to direct light and moisture. Best temperature is from 15° to 30°C. Keep away from children.

Do not overdose. Overdosing can not fasten your treatment. The possible symptoms of overdosing are rapid heartbeat and sudden sleepiness. If you suspect overdosing, call your doctor immediately and seek for medical attention. Taking more Clarinex than prescribed can lead to serious consequences.

During treatment with Clarinex you may experience drowsiness and drowsiness. These conditions may interfere on your daily activities. Be more cautious when you perform any hazardous activities, when you drive or operate with heavy machines.

Safety Information

You are not supposed to take Clarinex if you have shown allergy to it in the past. Do not take if you are allergic to antihistamine; have suffered from kidney and liver diseases. Advise your doctor for your medical history and require special dosage adjustment and monitoring during treatment. Clarinex belongs to FDA pregnancy category C and it is not reported if it can harm and unborn baby. In case you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant or a breast-feeder talk to your health provider before taking Clarinex. The medicnine passes into the breast milk and can be dangerous for the baby.

Side Effect

Side effects are possible to occur. If you notice something unusual or bothersome about health condition, call your doctor for further information. Possible side effect might be dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, fatigue, sudden sleepiness, sore throat, flu-like symptoms, muscle ache, nausea and weakness. You doctor will decide if you need to stop treatment with Clarinex or to lower your dose until your body get used to the treatment. There are other side effects recorded: swelling, rapid heartbeat, itching, rash, hard breathing and allergic reactions, which are very rare to happen.
